disconnection
I have a question for momo: i know that, after the change driver, i must get off the server. And all plz team do this.
So, if my team mate suffer a disconnect, i have to re-connect and then get back on track.
Yesterday the things didn't go in this way for r2r team.. masai stay connect all the race. I think the rules should be equal for all. If not, please clarify the issue.

Re: disconnection
In fact we tolerate drivers to stay connected in the server (2maximum)if there is no more than 47drivers in the race but you have right...it must be equal for everyone ! So next race we will announce before the race if it is allowed to stay on the server or not.
Thanks for reporting that

Re: disconnection
Momo there is another strange question about Boss disconnection.
Boss was near to pit, his car was damaged.
He lost connection after last split when he needed about other 10 seconds to finish lap.
Without disconnection, in "normal" situation, he had to return to box, attend about 30 second (or more, cause damage on car) and then Masai restart.
But with disconnection and VALID lap ... Masai restart immediately from pit without attend pit time, so at the end Masai gains about 30-35 seconds on other GT350 with the Bossforce disconnection.
I think that this is a big bug of the rules and to consider valid a lap.
For this race i think that u need to add to Masai+Bossforce the time needed to do a pit-stop because they did 1 only pitstop at the end ... and not two like the others.

Re: disconnection
That is not a bug of the rules. The chance of getting an advantage from a disconnection is really minimal

Sure ? Check Bossforce car status, point of disconnection, time needed to repair and refuel ... and what's happens in real and after u'll agree with me.

Re: disconnection
I belive you when you say he gained alot of time with the disconnection. But the probability of getting an advantage from it is still minimal.

Re: disconnection
In my opinion, if you admit that we have found a bug, you have to correct this.
A solution may be that the valid lap is the last one you pass on the finish line.

Re: disconnection
no because sometimes ths isn't your fault. But in such a case we need to make sure this isn't a cheat. For example in Aston if you are disconnected after S2 you will loose about 1 lap (this is what happen to us twice in MoE 24h) in 2.50min 's laps...that enormous. This isn't a bug, this is how it was built. We think that a disconnection isn't a driving mistake but of course this statement can create some cheat situation...we only need to check these situation to make sure it was only bad luck. Of course if we discover this is a cheat...the cheater will be DQ from the event !

Re: disconnection
This is what happens.
At 1.35.34 Boss losted connection.
At 1.35.52 Masai exit pit lane with a car without damage.
Without disconnection this is what would be happen:
- Boss had to return to pit, in about 10 seconds.
- Then he need to refuel and change his tyres, then driver change in about 22 second. MORE IF HE WANT repair car that was seriosly damaged rear.
- Then left pit-lin in other about 6 seconds.
10+22+6 = 38 seconds.
So, 1.35.34 + 0.00.38 = 1.36.12
So 1.35.52 and not 1.36.12 and Masai gain 20 seconds in the tracker and restart with a new repaired car.
I'm asking to check this because when Boss losted his connection i'm watching the tracker and 2 laps after disconnection Masai had increare and NOT decrease his vantage and this was really strange.
Is this clear ?

Re: disconnection
thiis dsconnection is clairly unvolunteer because Bossforce seems to drive normaly and was pushing hard to catch O'Keefe. Moreover Bossforce timed out after 1hour and 35 minutes in case of cheat, I think they would have done that after 1h50 to make no pitstop. The only time they won with this connection would have been the tme to fix damage but I'm not sure they would have repair it...
